iTaoBuy Spreadsheet Transit Delays

Late-parcel checker

Your dates against iTaoBuy’s own day counts: which lines are crossed, what they give, where to file and which notices fall in the same weeks.

Enter your parcel

How to use the tool: fill in the three groups from the package page, press the button, and read the result from the top. Only the shipping date is required; every other field sharpens the answer. Picking a destination loads the 16 October 2026 estimator snapshot, and picking a route sets its class for you.

1. The parcel
The date on the package page when it left the warehouse.
Leave empty if it has not arrived; the count runs to today.
Optional. Used only for the 20% lines.
2. The route
Fills the route list from the estimator, read 16 October 2026.
Optional. Picking one sets the class below.
Pick the class shown in the 2026 table for your route.
3. Cover and weight

How the checker counts days

It subtracts the shipping date from the delivery date and reports calendar days. That follows two iTaoBuy texts: the claims rules say delay is “calculated from the shipment date”, and the April 2026 policy notice speaks of a parcel “not delivered within 25 calendar days from the date of pickup”.

“More than 25 days” is read as day 26 or later. A parcel delivered on day 25 has not crossed the line. Where the estimator gives an explicit waiting period for Worry-Free claims (day 46 for dedicated routes, day 31 for express and EMS/ETK, day 101 for EMS - Sea Line), the checker shows it next to the filing route.

If you leave the delivery date empty, the count runs to today and the result says the parcel is still in transit. The coupon lines speak of a parcel that “takes more than 25 days to arrive”, so the final figure is fixed on delivery.

Picking the route class

The 2026 table groups routes into four classes, and the class decides which day counts apply. If you choose a destination and a route name, the checker sets the class from the estimator’s own Worry-Free tag for that route. If your route is not listed, use the table’s own lists:

  • Dedicated routes: the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia and other country lines, EU&US Tariffless, Europe DHL Duty-Free, Europe Small Package, DPD Express, U.S. Duty-Free Air Freight and Europe UPS Air Line - MG.
  • Express and postal EMS: HK UPS-5000, -7000, -8000, HK UPS Duty-Free-6000, HK FedEx-5000, plus EMS, ETK and EMS-T.
  • Land and sea: the three FED-US ocean lines, Europe UPS Truck-Air Fixed Price and EMS - Sea Line.
  • Postal small and large parcels: HZ-ETY, HZ-EUB, HZ-SAL and HZ-Postal Parcel AIR.

One mismatch to know: the estimator tags UK Small Parcel Service - F with the express Worry-Free type (30 days), while the table’s dedicated list has a “UK Line”. The checker follows the estimator tag and tells you so.

How notices are matched to your dates

Each logged notice carries the window it describes: Typhoon Ragasa covers parcels with an estimated shipping date from 22 to 25 September 2025, the Lunar New Year schedule runs from 13 to 24 February 2026, and so on. The checker lists a notice when that window overlaps the days between your shipping date and your delivery date.

Some notices give a start and no end, such as the Canada Post strike from 25 September 2025 or the Amsterdam de-icing shortage of 8 January 2026. Those are matched for 30 days from their start, and the result says so. Destination matters: a French strike notice only appears when you pick France, and EU-wide notices appear for any of the six EU destinations in the list.

A match is information, not a verdict. The checker never says that a matched notice cancels or confirms a payout.

What the checker will not do

Five boundaries of the checker.
Boundaries kept on purpose. View full image
  • It does not apply the original scheme to parcels shipped before 1 April 2026. It says the parcel falls under the old rules and stops there.
  • It does not decide whether an event is force majeure. It prints the exclusion wording instead.
  • It does not compute payouts for loss, missing items or damage.
  • It does not treat an estimator window as a promise. Being past the top of a quoted window triggers nothing by itself.
  • It does not know your account. Coupon delivery, claim outcomes and timings are iTaoBuy’s to confirm.

The checker runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere. Its logic is tested against fixed cases each time the site is rebuilt; the test cases are described on the updates page.
