iTaoBuy Spreadsheet Transit Delays

Ordering with iTaoBuy

A practical route from finding a listing to receiving the parcel, with separate checks for payment, warehouse photos, returns and shipping.

The purchase route, through to receipt

This is an editorial seven-stage sequence, not an official numbered tutorial. Item purchasing and international shipping are separate payment stages. The shipping date begins the transit count; earlier seller and warehouse work does not.

  1. Find a listing and record the option

Use a catalogue shelf, choose a specific size and colour, then save the seller name, link, measurements and selected price. Check pre-sale and return conditions before deciding.

  2. Submit it through the official site

Create or sign into your iTaoBuy account. Paste the marketplace link. If it cannot be read, use Fill&Buy: enter the product, specification, quantity, item price and seller-to-warehouse shipping; add an image showing the option you chose.

  3. Check and pay the item stage

Review the item option, domestic postage, selected services, conversion and payment fees before confirming. Keep the order reference. Respond to stock or supplementary-payment questions instead of assuming payment means the seller has dispatched.

  4. Inspect the warehouse evidence

Check the correct item code, quantity, label and details in the photos. Request a missing measurement before deciding. If something differs, raise it promptly and check the eligible return conditions below.

  5. Choose a parcel and a usable route

Check restrictions for every item, destination, packing and dimensions. Compare billable weight, operation charges and protection conditions. A listed estimate does not confirm the line is currently accepting parcels.

  6. Pay shipping and keep the dispatch record

Check the account’s final breakdown and any packing adjustment. Save the route, tracking number, protection selection and actual shipping date. Submission and payment are not necessarily dispatch.

  7. Track the journey and inspect delivery

Keep carrier messages and tracking history. Document the unopened parcel and receipt if there is a problem, before throwing packaging away. Use the date checker for delay; loss or damage needs its own evidence and rules.

Some Taobao links fail to load on agent sites. iTaoBuy’s answer, announced on 25 July 2025, is Fill&Buy: a manual form where you paste the link and type the specification and price yourself. What you type becomes the order, so copy the size, colour and quantity exactly as the seller lists them.

A catalogue link can also fail or change; browsing a shelf does not bypass the agent’s link reader. If a card’s listing has changed, a search such as padded jacket in the catalogue usually turns up a current one.

The warehouse photo set

When an item reaches the warehouse it is photographed so you can see it before it ships. iTaoBuy describes its standard photos as “3-6 fixed-angle shots”. Custom photos also exist, with a monthly free allowance; the price and the allowance are behind the login, so we do not quote them.

QC is short for quality check. GL (green light) and RL (red light) are community shorthand for approval or concern about photos. An RL comment does not file a return: use the account’s request route and explain the issue.

Reading the warehouse photos against the listing

How to check QC photos, in the order that catches most problems:

  1. Open the selected listing option beside the warehouse photos. Allow for lighting and white-balance differences; ask for another view if a colour difference remains unclear.
  2. Find the size label in the photos and match it to the size you ordered.
  3. Count the pieces in a multi-item order.
  4. Look at seams, zips, soles and print edges for the faults the seller’s own photos would not show.
  5. If anything is off, request review promptly. The five-day no-reason return policy applies only to eligible items, not every order. iTaoBuy says the window runs from the hour after the order turns “received”.

Returns that are your choice cost RMB 5 per order plus the shipping back to the seller, per the returns page. Food, underwear and customised items are among the exclusions.

Do not let a shipping deadline rush the warehouse check

When a garment arrives, compare its label, measurements and visible condition with your saved selection. If a needed detail is absent, request it immediately and identify the item reference. A clear question about sleeve length or a missing piece is easier to answer than a general request for better QC. Photos do not prove authenticity or complete performance.

Resolve a possible return before paying to send the item abroad. Waiting for another seller’s parcel may help consolidation but must be weighed against return and storage deadlines. Once the goods are ready, choose packing and compare routes for the complete contents. A faster label cannot undo a wrong variant, and a delay-benefit table should not be the reason to ship an item you have not checked.

Choosing the route with the delay lines in view

Decision flow: postal route, shield shown, sea route.
Three questions that tell you which delay lines a route can reach. View full image

The route you pick decides which delay lines can ever apply. Three questions settle most cases:

  • Is it a postal small or large parcel route (HZ-ETY, HZ-EUB, HZ-SAL, HZ-Postal Parcel AIR)? Then no delay line applies at all.
  • Does it show the Worry-Free shield? If not, only the coupon line can apply.
  • Is it a sea route? Then the coupon waits until day 50, and the estimator’s Worry-Free figure is 100 days.

Price and speed still lead the choice. But two routes at similar prices are not equal if one sits in the postal row. The estimator is free to use logged out: iTaoBuy freight estimator.

Ninety free days in the warehouse

Items can wait in the warehouse for 90 days free from the moment they are marked Stored. After that they turn Expired, and 30 days later iTaoBuy treats them as abandoned and destroys them without further notice. Paid extensions in 30-day blocks exist; the price is shown only after login.

Unmatched forwarded parcels have a separate 30-day limit from Signed, without reminders. Check the correct status instead of applying the 90-day rule to every arrival. Storage time is before day 0, so it never counts toward a transit-delay line. It does matter if you hold items back to ship them all together and one seller is slow.
